Abstract

This community service aims to hone teacher knowledge and skills in making Classroom Action Research (CAR). This activity was held for one month with a total of 12 participants. In general, teachers who take part in workshops are teachers who will propose promotions/classes with one of the conditions, namely the preparation of scientific work in the form of Classroom Action Research (PTK). Methods of implementing activities include mentoring, lectures, discussions, practice, and conducting research directly into the field and preparing research reports through workshops. The material presented in this workshop is not only related to Classroom Action Research, but also includes material on teacher promotion regulations, basic research concepts, various types of scientific papers, PTK reports, and techniques for writing scientific articles. The expected results in this workshop activity are that activity participants will be able to independently prepare PTK and be able to publish scientific articles in journals. Overall, with this activity teachers are expected to be able to improve the quality of education and teacher professionalism.
